What Remains Of Us

In this powerful documentary, rebellion manifests itself as a small video player smuggled into Tibet by a young refugee. Though she hides her parcel from Chinese authorities, her mission is not one of revolution, but of hope—a videotaped message from the Dalai Lama. What Remains of Us was shot entirely with small digital cameras between 1996 and 2004 without the knowledge of Chinese authorities.
