Named FIPRESCI's "Revelation of the Year" for 2007, this debut effort from Spaniard Rafa Cortés is a beautifully shot, richly atmospheric mood piece. Set in an atypically gloomy Majorca, Me is the story of Hans, a German handyman at a wealthy estate who finds himself slowly assuming the identity of his namesake predecessor, an ornery man whose abrupt disappearance remains a mystery.
