One week after the race in the Blancpain Series held in Monza, Kessel Racing is already back on
the track, this time in Imola, for this season’s second round in the Ferrari Challenge and the
International G.T. Sprint Series. In the latter, the G.T. Sprint, where Bocellari won race 2 in
Monza, a new car as well as a new driver will appear in the Kessel Racing lineup. Next to the
drivers’ pairings Petrini/Sorti and Bocellari/Delli Guanti now Lorenzo Bontempelli can be found
behind the wheel of a Ferrari F430 GT2. For the Italian driver this is his first appearance in this
"mini-endurance" series, where he starts as of the second round with great ambitions regarding
the final result. Meanwhile in the Ferrari Challenge five cars will be on the track for Kessel
Racing, driven by De Bernardi, Künzli, Raffaeli, Scheltema and Zanuttini. The Ferrari Challenge
will be on the track as of Friday for free practice sessions, while the cars participating in the GT
Sprint series will start on Saturday morning. Live TV coverage for the Ferrari Challenge will be
broadcast on one of the SKY Sport channels and on Motors TV, while the G.T. Sprint races will be
shown live on one of the RAI Sport channels as well as on Motors TV.
