In order to secure his property in England, Lord Greystoke (Tarzan) returns to Africa with Lady Jane and friend Albert Werper and starts searching for the treasure of Opar. Despite their friendship, Werper wants to take hold of the treasure himself and makes a deal with the Arab slave trader Achmet Zek who wishes to take revenge on Tarzan and Lady Jane.
