Your fame, money or power will be useless if you do not take good care of your health. Your health should be your priority at all times. Start living a healthy lifestyle by warding off stress, eating the right kinds of food and exercising daily at home or gym. If you can't visit the gym, you can jog or take a walk instead, at least 30 minutes to 1 hour a day. Also, do not forget to include fruits in your diet. Everything you do even though it is just a small effort can make a huge difference or impact in your life. 

10 Fruits You Should Eat

Eating fruits are recommended if you want to live a healthy lifestyle. Here is the list of 10 fruits you should eat

  • Apple

An apple a day keeps the doctor away that is why you should include apple in your daily healthy habit. Apple is packed with fiber, potassium, vitamin c, vitamin k and essential antioxidants that can help combat the risk of asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hypertension. It is a great anti-aging agent, too. No wonder why apple cider has become a hit for millions of people worldwide because it is like you are eating a real apple as well. You can make a variety of desserts using apple if you can't eat it alone. You can create an apple pie or apple jelly. Just make sure you do not take off the skin as it is where the nutrients are.  

  • Olives

Olives may look like an ordinary-looking fruit. But did you know they have a lot of health benefits? Yes, that is right. Just like apple,  olives are rich in fiber, vitamin e and antioxidant properties that can help in controlling blood pressure, lessening the effects of Alzheimer's disease and tumors, and halting blood clots to name a few. You can eat it alone or mix it in your favorite salad and sandwich. 

  • Pineapple

Pineapples are not only a delicious but nutritious tropical fruit as well. Due to its nutrients such as fiber, folate, iron, magnesium, potassium, thiamin and vitamin b6 and c, and antioxidant compounds, it can help in boosting your immune system, in fighting different diseases, and in accelerating your recovery after surgery. How cool is that, right? In addition, you can have pineapple juices, too. Just make sure to get the less sugar or zero-sugar variant or better yet, make one from scratch. 

  • Kiwi

Kiwis are not only healthy but are rich in flavor as well. Just like the first few fruits I have mentioned earlier, kiwis are full of nutrients such as vitamin c, e, and potassium. They are good for your blood pressure, digestion, immune system, etc. Just a quick tip: Kiwi's seeds and skin are edible so no need to worry of removing them. 

  • Papaya

Another tropical fruit on our list is called papaya. Papaya is a delightful fruit that originated from Central America and Mexico. You can eat it raw as a healthy dessert or have it cooked when it is still unripe. Just like apple and other fruits out there, papaya is full of anticancer and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, it helps in improving your heart and digestion. You can make enticing recipes using this fruit such as a salad or smoothie.  

Looking beautiful isn't just about what you apply on your face. It's the little things you do that matter. A combination of good diet, exercise, healthy habits, discipline, dancing, etc. is what my beauty routine consists of. Also, I have no bad habits; I don't drink or smoke. All these contribute to me being fit and looking good.

Grapes come in different colors such as black, green and red. No matter what the color is, grapes are advantageous to your body and overall health. They offer a vast array of benefits such as in averting chronic diseases like cancer and diabetes, in decreasing bad cholesterol levels, and in promoting eye and bone health among others. 

  • Orange

Aside from vitamin c, oranges contain calcium, copper, selenium, magnesium, manganese, and niacin. They are not only good for reducing cold and flu symptoms but in lowering blood pressure and the risk of stroke, in fighting free radicals, improving heart health and a whole lot more. And did you know oranges are good for the skin, too? To maintain or improve your skin condition, you can eat it or apply topically. 

  • Blackberry

All berries are healthy such as blackberry, blueberry, cranberry, and strawberry. They are an excellent choice in promoting overall health and wellness. Some of its known health benefits are: lowering bad cholesterol levels, controlling blood sugar, fighting free radicals, healing wounds, losing weight, etc. They are expensive in some parts of the world, but they are worth it. 

  • Watermelon

Are you looking for a refreshing fruit during the summer season? You should consider having a watermelon. It is low in calories and has a lot of vitamins and minerals. It helps in alleviating soreness of your muscles, in keeping you hydrated, in preventing cancer, in decreasing inflammation and a lot more. Coconut is a perfect thirst-quencher, too.
