Between two truths

Once, when Billy Graham was driving through a small southern town, a policeman stopped him because of the speed. Graham confessed his guilt, but the officer told him that he had to appear before the court.

The judge, on his part, asked, "Guilty or not guilty?" After Billy Graham had announced his guilt, the judge replied, "It costs ten dollars. A dollar for every mile that you have driven with exceeded speed ".

Suddenly the judge recognized the known preacher. "They have transgressed the law," he said. "You have to pay penalty, but I'll pay for you." And he took a ten-dollar bill from his wallet, put it in the receipt, took Graham out of the room and bought him a dinner.
