Calcutta becomes the first digital city in India.

When the rest of the country talks about Digital India, state government of West Bengal is just going to deliver a Digital Calcutta. Calcutta is going to be the first city in India to have a free Wi-fi service. The free service will initially be available from February 5 on Park Street and will be extended to the surrounding areas a week later. The whole of the city will gradually be brought under this free service and that will be completed within the next two months.
