Why should we drink tea more than alcoholic beverages? What are the important health benefits that we should be getting from tea? If taking to much alcohol damages the brains, liver and other systems of the body, drinking tea cleanses and boosts them.

Tea is rich in Catechins which are antioxidants called Flavoniods. The Catechin is an anti-cancer and heart protector. The Catechin content of tea is arranged according to is content from highest: green tea, oolong tea and black tea.

Tea helps in lowering bad cholesterol in the body, thus it is good for losing weight. But note that tea is totally different from slimming tea.

Tea also boosts energy and endurance that fights tiredness and stressful activities.

But most of all, tea enhances and sharpens memory. It boosts our brain and fights against dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

However, take caution in all what we eat and drink. Too much of everything is bad. Take only two to three cups of tea a day to avoid hyperacidity.
