Situated in the striking state called Himachal Pradesh, the Fagu is an exciting town and a wonderful scenic spot in the district of Shimla. Fagu is situated at an elevation of nearly 2750 meters above the sea level. This town is completely bordered by lush greenery and also is wealthy in ecology. This place is well-known among the tourists as a very attractive hill station.

The hill station of Fagu is an ideal place for the nature lovers. This is a must visit spot for those people who are very fond of the picturesque exquisiteness. The tranquil surroundings of Fagu will surely provide innate pleasure to its visitors. This spot serves as an excellent base-camp for the naturalists and trekkers. The picturesque sight of the mountains that are covered with snow is truly enchanting. It is positioned in the very close proximity of other famed breathtaking spots such as Kufri and Shimla which are just 6 kms and 18 Kms away respectively from this town. This town is bordered by Western Himalayas at the northern part and the Shivalik ranges at the eastern part bordering the Punjab state. The chief languages that are spoken by the local people of Fagu are Kumaoni and Hindi.

The deep valleys and mountain ranges in and around Fagu are crammed with several flower fields and apple orchards during May and October. Fagu is having a pleasant kind of weather condition. The summers are hot and winters are chilly. The finest time for visiting Fagu is in winter that is in between October and April.

Fagu doesn’t have its own railway station or airport. The closest railway station is in Shimla. Fagu is well connected by road with Shimla.
