Kareena Kapoor is being selective or is she getting fewer movie offers?

Posted on at

The youngest Kapoor girl seems to be vanishing slowly from the Bollywood movies after getting married to her long time boyfriend Saif Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor is getting less number of offers in the last few years after tying knots with the Dil Chahta Hai actor, Saif Ali Khan.

Once upon a time in the Bollywood industry Kareena Kapoor was one of the highest paid actresses and she won not one or two but total of six Filmfare awards for outstanding performances and for the best actress. But after getting into married life her work assignments are becoming lesser and lesser than what it used to be before.

Awards and Nominations of Kareena Kapoor

Right at the beginning of her career Kareena won the “Best Female Debut” award given at the Filmfare for her first film “Refugee” starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sunil Shetty. After that there was no looking back for her. She got nominated for the “Best Actress” title for her character in the movie “Ashoka” where Shah Rukh Khan played the main lead and also got nominated for the award titled “Best Supporting Actress” for her hip and happening character “Poo” in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Her acting in the movie “Jab We Met” where she played the character named Geet was outstanding and the role won her the award for the “Best Actress.” Also her movies “Chameli” and “Heroine” was much appreciated and talked about.

Her love marriage with the Nawab

The Singham Returns actress stated that she is happy with her married life and her marriage with Saif does not affect her career in any way. Though she is a lot busier after the wedding with her spouse still she is getting offers for commercial, big-budget bollywood movies. It seems the new bride is taking her time choosing her assignments carefully, now she is a begum after all.
