Real Madrid the Royal Club of the Club reached the Champions League final after a long time, in recent years Real Madrid reached Semi Finals but were knocked out on a number of occasions. The Former Nine time Champions League winners were hoped to finally realize the long hoped 10th in other words “La Decima” cup dream. There had been a previous some seasons in which the club reached foot closer to the most coveted trophy, however, due to some setbacks the club remained unsuccessful to mastering a success that would go into the history books. Everyone related to club from Players to Fans have been continuously dreaming of Champions League Cup glory for some years now, the last the club got near and everyone was hopeful of making it when Jose Mourinho lead Real Madrid to the record points tally in domestic league and were in the Champions League Semi Finals against Bayern Munich. However, a penalty drama ended with Ronaldo missing penalty ended Real Madrid journey in the league.

This year Real Madrid hired Carlo Ancelloti as First Team Manager from PSG, Ancelloti was the perfect choice from all the available Managers in the market with enough talent to replace Jose Mourinho and lead Real Madrid to the Glory. Carlo Ancelloti was not the final card that Real Madrid picked for their gamble on getting La Decima, Real Madrid purchased a no of great talent in their quest for glory like the biggest purchase of the world football Gareth Bale. Isco also joined from Malaga to strengthen the team with a number of other players in the queue. Real Madrid was strengthened and equipped enough to really start dreaming of La Decima and that proved decisive in the final result of the Champions League. A journey that started with, however, losing top target in Neymar to the hands of Barcelona and having an inconsistent start of the season, Real Madrid, however, stood strong and continued its journey in the Champions League.

When Real Madrid reached the Champions League Semi Finals, one team from the pot of three teams was to be chosen. Eventually Real Madrid were handed the toughest team of Champions League, Bayern Munich, the Champions of 2012/2013 season and the team lead by one of the best coaches in the world Pep Guardiola. Real Madrid won the first tie at home and then humiliated Bayern in the second at the Allianz Arena, crashing through to the Champions League Final. On the other Atletico Madrid shocked everyone by beating Chelsea at Stanford Bridge and reaching the Champions League Final first time in almost 3 decades. Lead by Diego Simeone Atletico were all but hopeful for shocking everyone in the world by winning the Champions League, he had the case as well because of the class striker in Diego Costa and David Villa who is the former best striker in the country and all time top scorer of Spain. However, Real Madrid team showed its real worth by winning the Champions League in the end, the players of the likes of Christiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric shone as Real Madrid turned the first half deficit to 4-1 victory at the final whistle. La Decima is finally realized and Real Madrid is the first club in History of football to won the prestigious cup for ten times.
