Addi is set in a provincial village and focuses on a mother and her young daughter. While the mother is baking bread, her daughter plays with her wooden doll. The girl eventually goes outside of the yard to play, her dog following her. As the mother continues to bake the bread, she hears a distant "boom". She goes out into the yard to see the dog, roaming the yard with the doll in its mouth. The grief stricken the mother as she knows that her daughter has been killed by a land mine.
