Synopsis: A hired assassin looks fixedly at his single bullet.

Plot (danger, spoil area): “Prelude” is a short-film that focused on the relationship between a father and son. A father, that used to be a hitman, never took care of his son. The man suffers from an illness and at the end of his days he attempts to rectify his mistakes even at the cost of his own life. Organized crime drug dealers hired him to kill his own son that has become a corrupt cop. The father accepts the deal. He only had one bullet in his gun. Will he use it?
“Prelude” was shot in HD proress 422 HQ with almost no budget. The short-film was visually inspired by “Sin City”, directed by Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino and Frank Miller's. The use of the black and white effect creates high contrast. A crime/noir short-film (psychological thriller) told in a series of interlocking vignettes that use comic-style visual effects. “Prelude” has been directed and written by Javier Palomino and starring Jesús Gallo, José Luis Diaz and Fabio León. It is a tribute to “Sin City” and its directors Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino and Frank Miller. The short-film´s plot revolves around crime, violence, and a trouble father-son relationship. Hard, violent short-film offering a hopeful ending in which the father sacrifices his life to give a second chance to his son.
