“Wreck-It-Ralph” and “Flight” Movie Reviews

Two big films are opening this weekend, we have “Wreck-It-Ralph” for the whole family and “Flight” for drama lovers. In “Wreck-It-Ralph,” John C. Reilly voices Ralph, a videogame villain who aspires to be a hero. In his journey, he discovers that being a hero means finding himself.

In “Flight,” Denzel Washington returns with an Oscar caliber performance as Whip Whitaker, an excellent pilot with drugs and alcohol dependency issues. When he saves a flight from crashing, he is initially called a hero, until further investigation reveals something far more catastrophic. Robert Zemeckis returns to directing a live-action feature after 12 years! That’s one great cause for celebration.
